This little girl is pretty tickled that she is getting to share some ice cream with her Grandpa.

Kora got her hair did.
I love the mutual enjoyment both my girls have of one another.
Kora thought it was the coolest thing to have her sister brush her hair this morning.
Isabella was equally happy to care for her sister that way.

A girl and her chickens.
Linda is the most patient, sweet chicken you could ever meet.
Molly is to the left and Rosetta is to the right.
Note the garden going gangbusters in the background.
It's been a good season.

Our trip to Baltimore.
So these are the faces you make when you pose with sharks.
I didn't get many pictures of the aquarium.
There was far too much kid wrangling for that.
What I did get was some nice pictures of jelly fish.
They are really beautiful.
These are upside-down jellies.
That's how they live.
Lunch outside on the waterfront.
We thought these dragon boats were really neat.
Isabella was quite taken with this huge anchor.
(Again, what's up with these expressions?)
Kora thinks it's really funny to be lifted upside down.
These girls were wooed by Isabella's adorableness and charm.
Isabella was wooed by the attention of cool teenaged girls.
These were the glorious clouds that met us on our drive home.
A "Yay God!!" few miles of driving if there ever was one.

Look at the cute kid in the mirror!
Kora thought it was hot stuff to see herself in the mirror.
Notice in the background you can hear Isabella playing on the piano.
(Sorry for this being on its side. I don't know how to fix it.)
Egg dying and hunting.
If it weren't enough that Keela puts on such great programs for our kids at the Library, she also has fun parties at her home. I always look forward to the fun get-togethers she has.
Let the silly faces begin.
Egg hunt!!
The grand prize of $5.00.
Fish faces.
Fun on the greatest climbing tree.

Spring Ballet Recital.
Isabella had her ballet recital yesterday.
Ballet has been very enjoyable.
Ms. Kelli does a great job with the kids.
Thanks to her for getting together a class for the homeschoolers!

Art Show
Here are some of the pieces Mr. had in the show.
They are incredibly difficult to photograph indoors and under gallery lighting.
The three busts in the middle are his (they sort of told a story), the triptych on the right is his and the medium painting in the middle is his as well.
If you click on any of these photo's they will load up in new window really big so you can see more detail.
This button machine had buttons from all the differnt artists.
Josh designed the cabinet.
I think it's really fun and gives me a "Magic Emporium" vibe.
This is a huge metal monolith painted with chalkboard paint for people to draw on.
The question was posed on the other side, "What gives you strength?"
(Notice Josh drew the stick figures of our family on the top and Isabella tried to make her own version in green right below him.)
The painting to the left is also Josh's.

Pittsburgh Trip part 3: Children's Museum
Well that's a pretty entrance.
What?!?!
Oh my nerdness....
It's a Death Star made from an old Jeep Wagoneer.
There is a solar panel on the other side.
What for?
I don't know but it's a promising addition to this wonder sphere!
Josh and Isabella working on their printmaking.
I believe the building the Children's Museum is in was the former Post Office.
It has a domed roof and they have these plastic streamers hanging.
Sort of odd but ends up being really beautiful when you look straight up.
Kora thought this was pretty neat.
Mr. Roger's Nighborhood section.
This ended up being Isabella's favorite spot even though she has only seen the show a handful of times.
Look at all the puppets!!!
Yeah, I was a bit "star struck" if you will.
Henrietta Pussycat!! Daniel Striped Tiger that lives in a timeless clock!!
It looks like Han Solo being frozen in carbonite.
This is under the staircase and sort of hidden.
Oh my goodness!!!
A flippin' Mystic from The Dark Crystal.
This elicits a response of either, "What's a Mystic?" or "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Holy Mackerel it's a Mystic from The Dark Crystal!!!!!!!!".
I'm clearly the latter.
Artsy fartsy fun.
